Today was a busy workday in Kearney. Our school's teachers along with several other schools' teachers met to learn ALP (Academic Literacy Program) strategies to assist students. The morning was spent in a large group with brief small-group collaboration, and the afternoon was spent in four breakout groups that focused on different topics such as teaching students to spot and identify fake news and learning walks. It was informative and thought provoking, but I'll need more processing time to integrate activities.
